Summary

This study aimed to investigate steroid use patterns in South Korean patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and to evaluate the effect of physician education on these patterns. The results showed a decrease in the proportion of excessive steroid users after physician education, and high disease activity was identified as a major risk factor for excessive steroid use, particularly in patients with ulcerative colitis.
