Summary

This study confirmed that enzymatically hydrolyzed red ginseng extract (HRGE) improved cognitive impairment and reduced hippocampal damage in scopolamine-induced C57BL/6J mice. HRGE administration exhibited neuroprotective effects by increasing the expression of Nrf2 and its downstream antioxidant enzymes, preventing oxidative stress-induced neuronal cell death.
