Summary

This study demonstrated that Abrus cantoniensis total flavonoids (ATF) could significantly reduce LPS-induced damage to mammary tissue, inhibit the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and suppress the expression of the CD14/TLR4/NF-κB/MAPK pathway in a mouse model of mastitis. Furthermore, ATF restored gut microbial balance and enhanced the expression of tight junction proteins in the blood-milk barrier, thereby attenuating the inflammatory response.
