Summary

This study compared flavonoids and anti-inflammatory effects in Korean Chrysanthemum species. Leaf extracts suppressed LPS-stimulated NO production and PGE2 production in RAW 264.7 macrophages, reducing the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase-2, thereby exhibiting anti-inflammatory effects.
