Summary

This study examined the moderating effects of maternal behaviors on the association between infant temperament and toddler behavior problems. The results showed that maternal responsiveness, negativity, and intrusiveness moderated the impact of infant temperament on behavior problems. These findings can be applied to the prevention and early intervention of behavior problems.
