Summary

This study aimed to develop and validate a career success criteria model for office workers. The survey results confirmed the validity of the measurement model consisting of 12 career success criteria items (reward, rank, expertise, etc.) and 4 areas (external achievement, internal achievement, internal affect, and external affect). Expertise, reward, and balance were recognized as important criteria for career success, and correlations with specific criteria items were found based on individual characteristics.
