Summary

This study analyzed the characteristics of astronomical exhibits in science museums in Korea, the United States, and Japan to examine their educational aspects and connection to the science curriculum. The results showed that science museums in the US and Japan utilize interactive exhibits to help visitors experience the principles of the universe, and the exhibit content is linked to the science curriculum, but topics like the Big Bang universe are selectively included, leading to limited learning opportunities. Therefore, Korean science museums should expand interactive exhibits and strengthen curriculum linkage to enhance the effectiveness of astronomy education.
