This study aims to provide a conceptual clarification of the connection between arts education and the development of humanities. The core value of arts education lies in the importance of emotions and sentiments through artistic experience, which is linked to the development of human character through Nussbaum's narrative imagination and Robinson's theory of sentimental education. Arts education contributes to the development of moral imagination, enabling individuals to perceive and respond to life's contexts in a nuanced and multifaceted way.
