Summary

This study investigated the factors influencing consumer resistance to smartwatches among 20-40 year-old consumers who are hesitant to adopt them. Relative advantage was found to decrease resistance, while complexity increased it, and compatibility, aesthetic attitude, and social image also influenced resistance reduction. This research differentiates itself from previous studies by categorizing smartwatch resistance into indifference and rejection.
