Summary

This study analyzes the content of multicultural human rights education in elementary and middle school social studies textbooks, suggesting improvements in terms of cultural diversity and minority rights. The analysis reveals that while the content regarding cultural diversity is adequate, more active activities and diverse materials are needed. Regarding minority rights, supplementation of the types of rights and actual cases of violation is required. Based on these findings, the study proposes ways to systematize multicultural human rights education and improve the curriculum and textbook development.
