Summary

This study classified fathers with children in elementary, middle, and high school into five participation types in school and community programs using latent class analysis. The participation types were ‘non-participation in all programs’, ‘participation in all programs’, ‘participation in volunteer programs’, ‘participation in educational information programs’, and ‘participation in counseling programs’, with factors such as interest in child education, household income, and child's school level influencing each type.
