This study analyzed the trends in research methods of articles published in the Journal of Urban Design Institute of Korea through bibliometric analysis. Over the past 10 years, interpretative research has decreased while empirical research has increased, with empirical research utilizing diverse methodologies such as statistical modeling, spatial analysis, and text mining. These findings are expected to provide basic information for exploring new research directions in the field of urban design.
