Summary

This study analyzes the fracturing and reconstruction of the binary discourse between public and private education through the perspectives of CEOs of listed education companies. The results showed that the CEOs emphasized the logic of justifying the supply of out-of-school education and the need to build a partnership between private and public education, arguing for a 'good private education discourse' that does not unconditionally view private education as evil and the inevitability of private education due to the limitations of public education.
