Summary

This study examined the impact of message vividness and recommendation concreteness on the diffusion and persuasion of police promotional videos through an online experiment. Vivid police promotional materials tended to increase immersion, leading to higher intentions to discuss and share, perceived effectiveness, and police trust, particularly among individuals with less favorable attitudes toward the police.
