This study explored the work experiences of North Korean defector men residing in South Korea based on the Psychology of Working Theory, revealing that livelihood, family responsibility, social relationships, and autonomous future design motivate work continuation, while discrimination, illness, and cultural differences act as hindering factors. Furthermore, utilizing personal psychological inner resources, career choices based on past experiences, and government subsidies were found to aid in sustaining work experience.
