This study analyzed the posting activities of fashion influencers on Instagram through the lens of the looking-glass self to investigate the impact of follower responses on their appearance management, fashion style, and self-expression. The results showed that influencers prepare postings to elicit positive responses, change their style based on negative feedback, and experience confidence or burnout depending on the reactions they receive.
