Summary

This study screened natural products to identify anti-senescence effects, revealing that Isatis tinctoria extracts exhibit both senolytic (eliminating senescent cells) and senostatic (inhibiting senescence-associated inflammation) activities in human skin fibroblasts. Notably, the extracts showed selective effects on skin senescent cells, suggesting their potential as cosmetic ingredients for preventing skin aging.
