Summary

This research investigated process system optimization in ultrasound assisted oxidative desulfurization (UAOD) using the NaPW/H2O2 system to determine its sustainability for clean diesel production. Analysis of the effects of ultrasound time, amplitude, catalyst dosage, and temperature on sulfur conversion revealed significant impacts from amplitude, catalyst dosage, and temperature, achieving 99.6% (theoretical) and 95.0% (experimental) sulfur conversion under optimal conditions.
