Summary

This study aimed to develop an effective photocatalyst for the rapid photodegradation of toxic contaminants, such as azo and thiazine dyes in real wastewater, by synthesizing a heterojunction TiO2/CaIn2S4@rGO nanocomposite. The rGO-C2 composite exhibited enhanced photodegradation activity, achieving almost 100% degradation efficiency within 25-30 minutes, outperforming other composites and demonstrating excellent performance in real textile industry wastewater and landfill leachate.
