Summary

This study investigates how the hindrance of limited ductility in multiphoton lithography-fabricated microscale devices can be circumvented through the design of microscale pantographic structures to achieve hyperelastic behavior. Through finite element analysis simulations and in situ SEM microindentation tensile testing, the behavior of the structure as a function of its geometrical parameters was analyzed, confirming the ability to obtain a hyperelastic response with large reversible deformations even at the microscale.
