Summary

This study developed a nanozyme (GI-Au NZs) composed of gold nanoparticles and phytochemicals (gallic acid, isoflavone) to address oxidative stress associated with aging and frailty, and evaluated its effects. Cell and in vivo experiments demonstrated that the nanozyme inhibited senescence in fibroblasts and reduced oxidative stress in mouse skin, with no observed hepatotoxicity or nephrotoxicity.
