Summary

This study aims to provide basic data for beauty marketing by analyzing the differences in hair care perception and attitude according to women's lifestyles. A survey of 480 women residing in the Seoul metropolitan area revealed that lifestyles were divided into ‘value-seeking’, ‘convenience-seeking’, and ‘rational-seeking’ groups, with the ‘value-seeking’ group showing higher hair care perception and attitude. Therefore, differentiated hair style service development and marketing are needed to meet the high interest in trends, style, individuality, and diversity.
