Summary

This study presents a method for modifying the surface of silica nanoparticles by introducing secondary amino groups and reacting them with Poly(ethylene glycol) Diacrylate (PEGDA) via Michael addition reaction. The reaction structure was confirmed through FT-IR, EA, and CP/MAS NMR analysis, revealing that the acrylate groups of PEGDA almost completely reacted with the amino groups of BTMA modified silica to form beta-amino acid esters.
