Summary

This study demonstrates a method for growing lysozyme crystals using a droplet-based microfluidic device. Polyhedral and plate-like crystals were observed at pH 4.8, while needle-shaped crystals formed at pH 7.2, and crystal growth at pH 4.8 was related to droplet size increase due to droplet interaction.
