Summary

This study examined science inquiry activities included in four high school Chemistry II textbooks developed based on the 2009 revised curriculum, focusing on the eight practices of scientific inquiry. The results showed that 'analyzing and interpreting data' was the most frequently included practice, while 'engaging in argument from evidence' and 'obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information' were less represented. 'Asking questions and defining problems' and 'developing and using models' were rarely included.
