This paper analyzes the achievements and limitations of the existing e-government promotion process in line with the launch of the Lee Myung-bak administration, and proposes strategies and tasks for the future development of Korean e-government. The next-generation e-government should take the form of a seamless government, a government providing One-Stop/Zero-Stop services, and an e-governance government, requiring integrated infrastructure construction, expanded citizen participation, and demand-oriented information system construction, and linkage with government innovation.
