Summary

This study aims to identify the impact of campaign finance scandals on incumbent reelection and voter evaluation by comparing the 1998 and 2002 US House of Representatives elections. The analysis revealed that campaign finance scandals did not significantly affect the incumbent’s reelection or voter evaluations.
