Summary

This study translated and validated the Appreciation Scale (Adler & Fagley, 2005) for a Korean sample of university students, proposing a Korean Version of the Appreciation Scale. Factor analysis revealed a 6-factor structure, and reliability and validity analyses confirmed the scale’s internal consistency. The results indicated that gratitude significantly predicted life satisfaction and emotional well-being.
