Summary

This study analyzed the differences in perception of tutor role performance based on participation role, grade level, and team composition in peer tutoring programs for university students. The results showed that tutors perceived the instructional role more negatively than tutees, and senior-junior teams perceived it more negatively than peer teams. Differences in perceptions of social and managerial role performance were also observed depending on team composition and grade level, suggesting the need for tutor pre-training, effective team composition, and guidance tailored to the characteristics of both tutors and tutees to activate peer tutoring programs.
