Summary

This study analyzed gender differences in factors influencing the life satisfaction of Baby Boomers, the sandwich generation who simultaneously support aging parents and adult children. The results showed that the life satisfaction of female Baby Boomers was affected by caregiving burden, satisfaction with child and marital relationships, health status, and economic expectations, while internet usage significantly influenced male Baby Boomers. Notably, the burden of supporting in-laws negatively impacted the life satisfaction of women.
