Summary
This study evaluated the conservation value of Suwoncheon Stream using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and analyzed factors influencing willingness to pay (WTP). The results showed that bid amount and citizen participation significantly affected WTP, and regional satisfaction and local issue involvement also increased the probability of WTP. This indicates that regional identity positively influences the restoration and conservation value of Suwoncheon Stream.
