This study examines how Arendt's core philosophical concept of 'natality' has been accepted in pedagogy and the contradictions inherent in the expression 'preservation of natality.' In particular, it analyzes the criticism that Arendt's educational thought can be linked to state control, focusing on the discussions of Woojung-gil and Masschelein, and aims to clarify the character of Arendt's education through a new understanding of 'education.'
