Summary

This study confirmed that downward employment increases job mobility intention, and analyzed that improving working conditions plays a buffering role in mitigating this tendency. Specifically, higher wage levels, job security, and major-job fit reduce the likelihood of job mobility due to downward employment. Therefore, job mobility intention can be reduced by improving working conditions even in a state of downward employment.
