Summary

This study analyzes and compares two facilitation processes: DQI/DQIfS in the U.K. and the case of Namhansan elementary school. A spontaneous facilitation occurred in the Namhansan elementary school case without proper tools, showing considerable similarities in both process and results with DQI/DQIfS. This suggests the possibility of developing a Korean-style facilitation method in user participating design processes.
