Summary

This study investigated the overall effects of utilizing movies in the Korean EFL classroom through a meta-analysis. The analysis of 34 research findings revealed that movie utilization had positive effects on learners, particularly for middle/high school and university students, and the longer the treatment duration, the greater the effect.
