This study analyzes the ambivalence of patriarchal and anti-patriarchal ideologies appearing in Kim Soo-hyun's family dramas. Through three recent works (, , ), the study confirms that family conflicts are resolved under the name of ‘family,’ leading to a convergence of ideological clashes. Kim Soo-hyun's dramas coexist with patriarchy and anti-patriarchy, evaporating social sensibility and reproducing family romance.
