Summary

This study compared the production of Korean diphthongs between native Korean speakers and Korean learners from China through speech analysis. The results showed significant differences in the tongue height at the end of the active interval for /ㅛ/ and /ㅠ/, and in the tongue position at the end of the active interval for /ㅛ/. This suggests the need for pronunciation correction for Korean learners, and consistent pronunciation training can improve the clarity of Korean speech.
