Summary

This study analyzed the change in carbon dioxide emissions due to changes in beef consumption patterns in Korea. Reducing beef consumption by half could result in a reduction of over 0.8 MtCO(2)e in 2023, which corresponds to more than 50% of the greenhouse gas reduction target in the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors.
