This study explores the post-avant-garde shift in modern theater and the aesthetic experience of the audience. The deconstruction of traditional theatrical techniques and the use of new theatrical signs can cause confusion and bewilderment to the audience, but at the same time, give the audience an active role in perception and reality construction. This change is important in reconsidering the essential characteristics of theater and exploring a new relationship between the audience and the theater.
