This study analyzes the syntactic rules of adnominal clauses in 21st-century Korean essays. Adnominal clauses are classified into slipped and complete types, with the deep structure of slipped adnominal clauses resembling quotative clauses and subjects being frequently omitted. Complete adnominal clauses contain more indirect quotations than direct quotations, and all formal quotations appear in the '-go ha-' omitted form.
