Summary

This study aims to analyze trends of social and cultural change by observing target words and their co-words extracted from a large-scale newspaper corpus (Trends 21). The research constructs a network to show the relations between target words and their co-words, interprets social change through the increase/decrease of word frequency, and specifically analyzes trends related to ‘family’ and ‘friend’.
