Summary

This study investigates the awareness and proposes activation plans for popularizing Korean traditional dance as a living dance. The results showed that students recognized dance-related activities as living dance and had a high interest in Korean traditional dance. Based on these findings, the study suggests activating Korean traditional dance through improvements to its classification system, development of modern accompaniment music, creation of new forms of living Korean dance, establishment of dance education programs, and expansion of performance and exchange programs.
