This study investigated the mediating effects of problem drinking between acculturation stress and marital satisfaction among international married Korean men. The results showed that husbands’ acculturation stress was significantly related to problem drinking, which partially mediated the relationship between acculturation stress and marital satisfaction. This suggests that problem drinking is a significant variable in the marital relationship of multicultural couples.
