Summary

This study analyzed the effect of assistive technology utilization in reading fluency intervention studies for students with reading difficulties and disabilities. Analysis of 15 studies published from 1986 to 2015 revealed that various assistive technology tools such as tape recorders, video cameras, computer software, and iPads were used in conjunction with reading strategy instruction.
