This study analyzes the multicultural phenomenon in Korea and the formation of multicultural spaces in Seoul. Multicultural spaces in Seoul are classified into dotted-line space types according to the timing of migration, function, and landscape type, revealing that various forms of space are formed depending on the characteristics and purpose of migrant groups. In particular, economic migrants tend to form ethnic ghettos in dilapidated areas, and migrants for commercial purposes tend to utilize spaces centered on lodging functions.
