This study aims to explore ways to ensure fairness in the admission officer selection process by defining fairness as ‘impartiality’ and ‘adherence to procedure,’ and proposing the enhancement of admission officer competence and the formal and substantive fairness of selection regulations. To achieve this, the study emphasizes the recruitment and training of qualified admission officers, the strengthening of school education, the establishment of selection data and evaluation criteria, the reflection of diverse opinions in regulation formulation, and the consistent interpretation and application of selection procedures, as well as ensuring transparency.
