Summary

This study examines the effect of culinary employees' emotional labor on their emotional dissonance and turnover intentions, and how emotional labor and emotional dissonance affect their burnout. The results indicate that the expression, in-depth behavior, and emotional detachment of emotional labor increase emotional dissonance, while spontaneous activities decrease it. Furthermore, emotional dissonance deepens burnout and influences the turnover intention of culinary workers.
