Summary

This study examines the formation process of France's multicultural society and the changes in its multicultural policies and education. France has long pursued equality and social integration, but recently faces cultural conflicts and a crisis of social integration, responding with changes in multicultural policies and education. The results show that France's multicultural policies have influenced multicultural education in schools, but immigrants still experience a vicious cycle of poverty and discrimination.
