Summary

This study aims to analyze risk factors in the value chain of food companies due to the liberalization of the food market and the increase in trade volume, and to propose proactive and reactive risk management strategies. The study identifies the sources of risk within and outside the supply chain network and analyzes the optimal supply chain strategy considering the characteristics of food and the uncertainty of the upstream and downstream of the supply chain. This research is expected to raise awareness of the importance of risk management for food companies and contribute to achieving a competitive advantage.
