Summary

This study investigates the sequential relationship between customer importance and capital market reaction through audit quality, and the impact of corporate ownership structure on audit quality and market reaction using path analysis. The results indicate that customer importance enhances audit quality, but corporate ownership structure (major shareholder ownership, foreign shareholder ownership) does not significantly affect audit quality. Furthermore, higher audit quality is positively perceived by investors, and customer importance and corporate ownership structure influence firm value through certain variables.
